BLINN BOARD DISCUSS IMPROVEMENTS AT BRENHAM, BRYAN CAMPUSES
Blinn’s board of directors will discuss several improvement projects on the Brenham and Bryan campuses at its meeting on Tuesday.
The council will consider seeking qualifications for engineering services related to College Avenue and the realignment of sidewalks on the Brenham campus. It will also seek to authorize the College to negotiate a guaranteed maximum price for improvements and repairs to the old main building, and make proposals for the establishment’s furniture, fixtures and equipment.
For the Bryan campus, administrators will seek qualifications for architectural services to the administrative building and for interior and access control upgrades on campus, as well as engineering services for replacement of buildings. chillers and building automation upgrades.
After meeting in executive session, the council will discuss the agreements relating to the transfer of the Star of the Republic museum to the Texas Historical Commission, the sale of real estate in Brazos County and the easement for properties in the county. from Washington.
The trustees will also hear a series of administrative, financial, registration and housing reports, as well as a summary of the 87e Legislative session.
The board of directors will meet on Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 p.m. in the boardroom of the Brenham Campus Administration Building.
